Before he founded Altermind, Mathieu began his career practicing corporate law in some of Paris’ most prestigious law firms. He advises leaders of major French and foreign groups.
Mathieu has regular contact with political leaders in France and the United Kingdom. He is an affiliate professor at Sciences Po and is a columnist for French magazine Le Point and newspaper Le Figaro. He is also part of the new team of the program "L'Esprit Public" on France culture.
Mathieu is constantly involved with all clients and on all Altermind cases, in particular on the following aspects: he has advised companies in their deployment strategies by assisting them in their searches for business opportunities, partners or investments; he has assisted clients in defining their strategies, for competition and / or litigation procedures, liaising with regulators and negotiating with them; he has represented clients before public authorities, to promote the conclusions of academic works in favor of market openings or regulatory changes, ensuring long-term monitoring of projects.

Erwan joined Altermind in 2012. A graduate of Sciences Po and the Universities of Paris I and V, he passed the bar exam.
Erwan was rapporteur of the "Attali Commission" (Commission for the Liberation of French Growth, which reported to President Sarkozy) and the AFEP-Medef Committee (chaired by Claude Bébéar), before joining the Competition Authority. He has been teaching economic and competition law at Sciences Po since 2008.
Erwan regularly publishes op/eds and intervenes in the main French media (radio, television, print media) ; he has been a weekly columnist in L'Opinion since 2016 and monthly in Les Echos since 2019. In 2017, he published "La France des opportunités" (Les Belles lettres). He is a member of the Scientific and Evaluation Council of the Foundation for Political Innovation ("Fondapol") and the bureau of the think tank "Paris Digitale". He has regularly contributed to the work of various think tanks (Fondapol, Institut Montaigne, etc.). Involved in associative action in the field of education, Erwan chaired a coaching association of high school students from the Paris' "suburbs".
Benoît joined Altermind in 2017, after having practiced public law for 7 years in Hogan Lovells (2010 - 2013) and Clifford Chance (2013 - 2017). He teaches public contract law at Sciences Po. Benoît has developed extensive expertise in the public and regulated sectors, in particular in infrastructures (network industries and social infrastructures), public services and energy.
He is the author of several papers for think tanks (Terra Nova, Jean Jaurès Foundation), press articles and legal articles, especially on infrastructures and on the reform of public services.
Benoît is in charge of the "Public Infrastructure and Services" issues. He has assisted Altermind's clients in outsourcing public services or investing in public infrastructure and has also been involved in several cases in the energy sector, in respect of investment, regulatory and litigation issues. Benoît has assisted other clients in the context of discussions with the Government in respect of regulatory issues on housing and short-term rental sectors (Airbnb).
A Sciences Po Paris graduate, Florian joined Altermind in January 2019.
He has started his career in 2006 in investment banking, at Lazard and then Deutsche Bank. Florian has advised clients in multiple industries on several M&A, ECM and financing situations for more than eight years.
In 2014, Florian has joined Groupe FNAC, a 4bn€ European listed retailer specialized in consumer electronics and cultural products, to become Head of M&A and Corporate Development. Among other deals, Florian has conducted the largest transaction of the history of FNAC: the acquisition of their main competitor Darty. In July 2016, Florian has been appointed Group Strategy Director with a direct report to Alexandre Bompard, CEO, and joined the Executive Committee. Working with Enrique Martinez, he has led for the Confiance + strategic plan, presented to the market in December 2017. In January 2018, Florian has joined Back Market, a marketplace specialized in refurbished electronic devices, as CFO. There he conducted Series B fundraising with Groupe Arnault and Eurazeo.
Cristian holds a Master’s degree in economics of markets and organizations from Toulouse School of Economics.
He joined Altermind in 2018. His degree gave him strong knowledge in industrial economics, economic regulation and econometrics. Apart from his studies, Cristian has acquired skills in data analysis, data modelling and programming. His professional background includes an experience in the medium-term forecasting department at the Central Bank of Moldova, where he worked on inflation forecasting.
Arnaud is a lawyer by training, he graduated from the Master 2 in Business Law - DJCE of the University of Toulouse I and the Master 2 in Media and Communication Law of the University Panthéon Assas Paris II.
Arnaud joined Altermind in 2019 after working at the Conseil supérieur de l'audiovisuel (CSA) on competition law and economic regulation issues. First of all, as a project manager with the Department of Studies, Economic Affairs and Foresight, he participated in the examination of the opinions of the Competition Authority. He then became an advisor to the President of the CSA, whom he represented in particular at the États généraux des nouvelles régulations numériques. Arnaud has developed his expertise in competition law within the General Secretariat of the M6 Group and the Competition Law Department of Allen & Overy LLP.
Aurélie has been working for more than 10 years as a research scientist and an entrepreneur in computational sciences, in the United States and in France. She is a specialist of applied mathematics and computer programming; her work is dedicated to understanding and detecting the biases in algorithms and technologies.
She also has experience in a broad range of disciplines such as engineering, medicine, economics, finance, and journalism. In 2016, Aurélie founded In Silico Veritas in NYC, a consulting agency that guides corporations and governments into their data and AI transformations. Aurélie teaches graduate algorithm lectures in American (MIT) and European Universities (INSEAD, IE Business, Duke Corporate Education).
She is a member of the Sapiens Institute in Paris, and is actively engaging in boards and committees in France (Demain.IA, Conseil Supérieur de l’Audiovisuel), in England (Nexus Frontier Tech) and in the United States (Code For Fun).
Rodolphe is a Chaired Professor of Strategy at HEC Paris and the academic director of the Society and Organizations Center which he launched in 2009.
Previously, he has been Visiting Professor at New York University, Cambridge University, and London Business School, and Visiting Scholar at Harvard Business School. His domains of interest are the evaluation of firms, Corporate Social Responsibility policies, and their links with performance and competitive advantage.
Rodolphe is also the author of books, including the Guide du Management Stratégique (Dunod, 2003), Organizational Evolution and Strategic Management (Sage, 2006), The Pirate Organization (Harvard Business Review Press, 2013, co-written with J-P Vergne), Organizations, Strategy, and Society: The Orgology of Disorganized Worlds (Routledge, 2014) and the Strategor (co-editor, Dunod 2019, 7th edition). He regularly intervenes with top management teams and has carried out several consulting missions with Altermind.
Murielle joined Altermind in 2018. She gained a long experience in business administration (SME) in sectors including telecommunications, construction, luxury world travel and hospitality, spending most of her career in South Pacific.
